The history of Dook LaRue

Dook LaRue was the drummer for the rock afire explosion and was based off of the character Dingo Starr, a play of the name Ringo Starr the famous beatle. He has been dubbed the most beloved RAE character. His early designs had him shown in a flannel shirt, gold chain, pants, and a hat but was later changed to a space suit. Dook often stuttered during skits and found himself to be the butt of the joke. He wasn't quite as sharp witted as the other band members but thus led his charm!

Dingo Starr 

In the 1990s Dook went through a major makeover, he was given bright pink overalls, a green shirt, and backwards hat. The "upgraded" Dook was referred to as "junkyard dog".
